The long deep green, narrow leaves are sticky to the touch. Numerous apricot colored flowers are tubular, having 5 broad lobes with light orange to white centers. Singular flowers are borne from the leaf axis all the way up the stem.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ecology:<\/strong>\u00a0found growing on rocky hillsides and cliffs, where winters are cool and moist, and summers are dry and warm. \u00a0Apricot monkeyflower grows at elevations from sea level to 7500 ft (2300 m) in a small area of Southern Oregon, and throughout much of California.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Growing Conditions:<\/strong>\u00a0full sun to partial shade, in moist to dry well-drained soil.
